Student Hair Studio
Our full-service, student-run hair salon offers a variety of cuts and treatments to our community at considerably reduced prices.
Students from the Hairstyling program care for our clients. Plus, there’s always one or two Hairstyling faculty assisting students with everything from consultation to colour formation.

Prices include an environmental fee. Prices may vary due to hair length and/or density. Methods of payment accepted: credit or debit only, no cash.

A French-colouring technique where colour is applied by hand, as opposed to with foils or caps. Creates dimension while staying true to the natural look. Cut included in price.

Students will thoroughly wash and style your hair to your liking

Perms available for both short and long hair, cut included in price.

Replenishing moisture, a deep conditioning treatment creates healthier and smoother hair, while also reducing frizz.

What to expect on your visit
After signing a release form, you will be brought to a station to have a personal consultation with the student assigned and a faculty member.
The student will look at pictures that you have brought to gain an understanding of the exact outcome desired.
At the beginning of your service the student will answer any questions that you may have, as well as explain each step of the service.

Frequently asked questions (FAQs)
Yes. Please arrive five to ten minutes early to complete the Hair Studio release form.
We accept debit or credit cards only. Sorry, no cash.
Yes. It is appreciated by the students but not mandatory. To show your appreciation, the greatest compliment you can give a student is to return to the clinic, refer others or provide written feedback. If you decide to tip, please bring cash.
Yes. The Hair Studio sells gift certificates.
No. Your gift certificate will not expire. Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash.
Yes. The clinic has professional retail products for sale at the reception counter.
